Project Mooncircle is a Berlin based label and creative collective operating in the left-field sphere of electronic music. Originally established in 2002, its diverse back catalogue is one of no musical boundaries. Today much of the label’s output focuses on the fusion of organic and electronic music. With a heavy emphasis on artwork and design, the label prides itself on the curation of original ideas and vision.
Acting as an official label of hhv.de and parenting two sub-labels – dub techno imprint Project Squared and both blog/label Finest Ego, specializing in experimental beat music. In an ever changing music climate Project Mooncircle continues to develop and welcome new sounds of universe.

Project: Mooncircle have become synonymous with class. Their releases right from the beginning have become unmissable and it is a label that excites many of us music heads out there.
There’s always something special about the releases from Project: Mooncircle – the Berlin imprint first established in 2002 by Gordon Gieseking as an outpost for experimental sounds in a city dominated by techno. Always teetering on the boundary between the organic and electronic, and with acute attention to artwork and design.
Seemingly not a year goes by that this Berlin-based label doesn’t put out some of the finest and most criminally underrated down tempo beat music on the planet, and 2016 was no exception.
Immer mit großartigem Artwork, immer mit dem Versprechen, etwas Besonderes abzuliefern, etwas, was es so noch nicht gab oder gibt, etwas, das der musikalischen Landschaft ein Ausrufezeichen hinzufügen kann.

Project Mooncircle is a label with an impressively developed aesthetic, often touching on the melodic 1990s electronica of the likes of Plaid and early Aphex Twin, but also with a strong songwriting sensibility and gorgeously expensive-sounding production values.
